Kathleen “Katy” Goerke

Katy practices primarily in the areas of property litigation and is the Assistant City Attorney for criminal prosecution for the City of Ely.

Prior to joining Klun Law Firm, Katy worked in the Minnesota Judicial Branch under the Honorable Shan C. Wang in Stearns County District Court and for the White Earth Band of Ojibwe. She is experienced in serving rural communities with partitions, probate matters,
and criminal trials.

Katy enjoys helping our clients find practical solutions for their problems. She excels in knowing Minnesota Statutes and has the skill to research deeply into case law.

Katy was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, and spent many summers in the north woods and the Boundary Waters.
