Alison Richards

Alison joined Klun Law Firm in early 2022. She works closely with our attorney, Kelly Klun, in the areas of probate, estate planning, litigation, and criminal law.

Alison has a degree in Legal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate. She previously worked at a law firm in Duluth, MN, in the areas of estate planning, corporate law, and real estate. Alison took a leave from the legal world to start, run, and then sell a successful restaurant in the Ely area. She then took on a role as the Food Service Administrator for a National High Adventure Base.

Attention to detail and the ability to understand difficult legal issues allowed Alison to quickly jump back into the legal world, making her a valuable member of the Klun Law team. Alison will be working to assume the duties of the Firm Administrator.

Alison is a native of Ely, born and raised. When away from work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and being out on the lake.
